Too hilarious not to mention, I hereby present the genious The Onion's news about the girlfriends of America that wants us to move in together (see the video at the bottom of this post). It may be a comedy, but there are evolutionary adaptions behind the stereotypes of women and women's approach to relationships. Why do women want us to move in? The harch answer would be that they want to monopolize a male, and they can always get better genes or genetic variety for their children later by having affairs.
To be fair I should also explain why men don't want to move in - They are already having sexual access to their girlfriend so why would they invest further and thereby limit their chances of having a variety of sexual partners that will carry his genes.
As usual, eventhough the female perspective of relationships is currently the politically correct one, it is not possible to say that one relationship strategy is better than the other. |

The road to success in life, both with women and career-vise, may be counter-intiutive. The first step of success is to increase the rate of failure. For example - Getting fired left for somebody else, despite sometimes coming as a surprise and leaving you scrambling to recover, is often a godsend: Someone makes the decision for you, and it helps you not to stay in the wrong job for the rest of your life. Most people aren't fortunate enough to get fired and continue to die a slow spiritual death over 30-40 years of tolerating mediocrazy.
The Opposite George is onto something here. Many such "opposite" counter-intuitive mannerisms are actually tought in the seduction community, as explained by Neill Strauss in the book The Game, with huge successes as a result.
"This has been the dream of my life ever since I was a child and it is all happening because I'm completely ignoring every urge to use the common sense and good judgement that I've ever had." - George Costanza
